Our Client

We are exclusively partnered with a leading, Tier 1 B2C & B2B iGaming group who hold over 50% market share in several markets across Europe, North America, LATAM and Asia.

The company is achieving record breaking success and has grown by over 300% over the last 5 years!

They are now seeking a Director of Malta oversee the entire Maltese entity which services key markets across Europe including MGA, Netherlands, Romania etc. 

The Malta team is around 40 people and you’ll ensure the company is performing well/growing, operating efficiently and remains in good standing with key regulators across Europe. 


What you will do

  • Strategically oversee operations (B2C & B2B) in key markets including MGA Europe, Netherlands, Romania etc.
  • Ensure the European business unit is performing well commercially (driving growth).
  • Ensure the Maltese entity remains in good standing with key regulators such as the MGA and Dutch regulator.
  • Lead 3rd party commercial negotiations to integrate their software into B2B partners.
  • Directly oversee all HR and admin/documentation that goes through the Maltese entity (overall governance related tasks)
  • Review of periodical reports requested by the MGA and Dutch regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure the company is compliant with all MGA and Dutch Gaming laws and regulation, including on GDPR and AML requirements.
  • Support in the preparation and submission of ad hoc notifications and documents to the MGA and Dutch regulatory bodies.
  • Aid in the compilation of the gaming taxes.
  • Sign all necessary, official company documentation whilst providing full due diligence as requested by third parties.
  • Review all key internal operational and support processes within the control system so as to ascertain the company’s levels of control.
  • Handle the assessment of the application of the company’s control mechanisms.
  • Review and provide updates to the Group CEO and CFO about any significant changes in the MGA and Dutch gaming laws and rules which may affect the company.
  • Review any necessary changes to the control system and related accounting and administration procedures conducted by the Company, and the notification thereof, to the relevant regulatory bodies and the Group CEO/CFO.
