Our Client

Our client is a market leader in the B2C Esports industry with over 1 million active users on their site per month. Currently serving North America and Europe, their platform aims to expand to non-English markets (LATAM etc) as well, bringing a unique gamified experience to users around the world. First launched in 2016, the brand has gone through substantial (250%) growth over the last 3 years. Up until now, they have relied largely upon organic growth, but it’s time to take things up a notch!

What you will do

  • Define a comprehensive vision, long-term product strategy, and roadmap for the development and enhancement of the product, aligning closely with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, staying abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and player preferences to inform strategic decisions.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that the team focuses on high-impact features and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of game performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Successfully improve player retention, engagement, and monetization metrics.
  • Take ownership of the product’s success, proactively identifying risks, addressing issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, while playing an active role in ensuring the product has the correct data available to assess its decision-making capabilities.
  • Implement Agile methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and timely delivery of features and improvements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including working closely with the CEO and executive management, game designers, developers, analysts, and marketing teams.
  • Foster clear communication channels and ensure alignment of goals and expectations across all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with gaming mathematicians, player experience designers, data analysts, and other key team members to define product requirements and prioritize feature development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product development teams.
  • Provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary product teams, including Product Owners, developers, designers, and analysts.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, mentorship sessions, and skill development initiatives to nurture talent and drive team effectiveness.
